Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

The service

IdPhoto Studio converts photos you upload into document-style photos sized to published official specifications, with an automated compliance report. We are not affiliated with any government agency, and final acceptance of any photo is decided solely by the issuing authority.

Payments and credits

Free generations are limited per day. Paid purchases unlock clean, full-resolution downloads and print sheets: a single-photo purchase unlocks one clean generation, and credit packs provide the number of credits stated at checkout. Credits do not expire, and they are stored on our servers rather than in your browser — if you clear your cookies, open the link from your receipt again on any device to pick them back up. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which handles taxes and refunds.

Refunds

If a purchased photo fails the compliance check and cannot be regenerated successfully, or if you were charged twice, contact support within 30 days for a full refund. Because digital files are delivered immediately, statutory withdrawal rights may be waived once you download the files; this does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Acceptable use

You may only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you permission. You may not use the service to create photos intended for fraudulent identity documents, impersonation, or any unlawful purpose. We block and refuse service to abuse, and we cooperate with payment providers on fraud cases.

Photos and privacy

Uploaded photos are processed to generate your result and deleted within 24 hours. We never use your photos for training or share them with advertisers. See the Privacy page for the full policy.

Disclaimers and liability

While every photo is checked against the official published requirements we cite on each document page, requirements change and interpretations vary. We provide the service "as is" and limit our liability to the amount you paid for the affected order, to the extent permitted by law.
